On this 10th episode , my guest Sandy Koujou shares some traumatic events in her life like the loss of  both her parents, divorce and domestic violence.
She shares how she built resilience and turned her pain to purpose by helping others going through domestic violence to bounce back and regain their power.
Few key highlights are:
1-Domestic violence happens to both men and women
2-Some effects of domestic violence are anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, feeling unworthy, fear , shame, guilt, anger, lack of trust, cardiovascular diseases, death to name but a few.
3-Signs of domestic violence in marriage or in relationships are: physical, sexual violence, blame, constant criticism, bully, threat, financial , emotional control, cutting you off family etc..
4-Seek help (legal, Therapy, medical). Don't die alone.
