Women in their 40's experience this natural transitional period differently .By age 38, i was woefully unprepared for low mood, irritability, depression, and feeling of being stuck in a whole and being angry for no reason, low self esteem and so much more. The Fortified Woman Podcast aims at inspiring, empowering women in their 40s to rise, shine, thrive and turn what can be a midlife crisis to Midlife rises. We will discuss topics ranging from perimenopause, menopause and their effects on our mind, body and emotions, ways to cope and enjoy this blossoming season in our lives . I know what it’s like to survive rather than to LIVE life daily. The wonderful thing about life is how much we can actually control when we alter our mindset and decide it’s time to LIVE and THRIVE rather than survive. I have proven to myself, my family and friends, that a happy Midlife is attainable, that there’s far more to life than simply surviving day to day. She's married Mobolaji and has two amazing world leaders in the making. She also holds the world record as perhaps the best female champion for the male gender in the world.
